The next regular Municipal Election to elect a Mayor, Reeve, Town Councillors and School Board Trustees will be held on Monday October 24, 2022. The next term of Council begins on November 15, 2022 and concludes in 2026.
Bill 181, The Municipal Elections Modernization Act, 2016, came into effect June 9, 2016 and made changes to the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 for the 2018 Municipal Elections. How Can I Cast My Vote?
Electors will receive a notice in the mail providing instructions and a secure PIN number to use to vote by either the internet or telephone. Electors are encouraged to vote using either the internet or telephone between 10:00 a.m. on Friday October 14, 2022 to Monday October 24, 2022 (no later than 8:00 p.m.). There is no need to wait until October 24 (Election Day) to cast your vote.
What if I Prefer to Vote Using a Traditional Paper Ballot?
For electors who wish to participate in a more traditional voting method, the Town will also have an in person voting poll location at Town Hall, 127 Raglan Street South, Renfrew ON.
Dates and times will be identified in the Voter Information Letter which will be mailed to electors at the beginning of October.
Voters are requested to bring their notice with their PIN number with them and their government issued photo identification to the voting location.
A help desk will be available at the Town Office, located at 127 Raglan Street South, Renfrew Ontario to provide voting assistance on:
Friday October 14 - 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m.
Monday October 17 - Friday October 21: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday October 22 - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Election Day October 24, 2022 - 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Traditional Paper Ballot Voting Dates and TimesOn Election Day and during advanced polls, voters will have the option to vote using a traditional paper ballot at Renfrew Town Hall, 127 Raglan Street South, Renfrew Ontario.

This list is used by Municipal Clerks to produce the final Voters' List used for the election.
